The treatment area will be thoroughly cleaned to remove oils, dirt, or makeup, ensuring a sterile environment. We will start by marking specific points where Botox will be injected into your face. It targets the muscles that cause wrinkles.
Botox injections are generally not painful, but some people may experience mild discomfort. If you are sensitive to injections, we will apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area or use ice to minimize discomfort. This step is usually optional, as Botox injections are relatively painless for most patients.
We use a fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox directly into the targeted muscles. The procedure is quick, usually taking about 10-15 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
The injections may cause slight pinching or a mild stinging sensation, but the discomfort is minimal and short-lived.
Avoid Rubbing the Area:
For several hours post-treatment, avoid massaging or rubbing the treated areas to prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended muscles.
Stay Upright:
It’s recommended to stay upright for at least 4 hours after the procedure to avoid pressure on the treated areas.
Avoid Strenuous Activity:
For 24 hours, avoid intense physical activity, which may cause Botox to disperse.
Onset of Results:
You may start seeing results within 3-5 days after the treatment, with full effects visible in about 7-10 days.
Duration of Results:
Botox lasts 3-6 months. As the effects wear off, you may notice that wrinkles and lines begin to return. You can schedule follow-up treatments as needed to maintain results.
